In der zweiten Septemberh\u00e4lfte gibt Pr\u00e4sident Salvador Allende zugleich bekannt, dass die chilenischen Verm\u00f6genswerte des US-amerikanischen Telekommunikationskonzerns ITT nun vollst\u00e4ndig in staatlicher Hand seien. Zuvor hatte es im Parlament monatelang Widerstand gegen die Vergesellschaftung gegeben.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrenddessen in der Welt<\/p>\n<p>In derselben Woche gibt der philippinische Diktator Ferdinand Marcos die landesweite Anwendung des Kriegsrechts bekannt. Hintergrund sind Massendemonstrationen und der Beginn einer neuen Guerilla-Offensive gegen seine Regierung.
