August f\u00fcr den Gro\u00dfraum Santiago den Ausnahmezustand. Grund sind eine Reihe gewaltsamer Anschl\u00e4ge und ein Einzelhandelsstreik, der im Stadtzentrum zu Zusammenst\u00f6\u00dfen f\u00fchrt. Die christdemokratische Partei (DC) macht die Regierung f\u00fcr die Situation verantwortlich und ruft zu einer Demonstration gegen Pr\u00e4sident Salvador Allende auf.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrenddessen in der Welt<\/p>\n<p>Im argentinischen S\u00fcden, sorgt die Haftanstalt von Rawson, aus der in der Vorwoche einer Gruppe Guerilleros die Flucht gelang, erneut f\u00fcr Schlagzeilen. Am 22. August ermordet das Milit\u00e4r dort 16 H\u00e4ftlinge, allesamt Mitglieder bewaffneter linker Organisationen.
