Mai einen Bericht, in dem sie der Regierung der Unidad Popular wirtschaftliche und soziale Fortschritte bescheinigt. So sei das Bruttosozialprodukt (BSP) um 48,5 Prozent gewachsen. Zugleich erhielten die Chilen*innen h\u00f6here L\u00f6hne, die Arbeitslosigkeit sei gesunken und der Konsum gestiegen. Dem steht jedoch ein R\u00fcckgang der Investitionen und negative Zahlungsbilanz gegen\u00fcber.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrenddessen in der Welt<\/p>\n<p>In Moskau empf\u00e4ngt am 26. Mai der Generalsekret\u00e4r des Zentralkomitees der Kommunistischen Partei der Sowjetunion, Leonid Brezhnev, US-Pr\u00e4sident Richard M. Nixon. W\u00e4hrend des Besuchs  unterzeichnen beide den sogenannten ABM-Vertrag, ein Abkommen zur Begrenzung antiballistischer Raketenabwehrsysteme.
